I. RULES

1. Tournament Overview

- 2v2 Tournament
- Participants will compete using their own in-game characters.
- Cross-region competition between SEA and Vietnam.
- All matches will be played on the Tournament Server.
- Match Map: Training Room.
- Character data will be copied to the Tournament Server for use throughout the tournament. 

2. Tournament Schedule

- July 25, 2026: Official tournament announcement.
- 10:00 (UTC +7), July 31, 2026: Registration opens.
- 10:00 (UTC +7), August 2, 2026: Registration closes.
- 10:00 (UTC +7), August 3, 2026: Character data will be copied to the Tournament Server.
- August 4, 2026: Tournament accounts will be distributed to qualified participants.
- From August 4 to 17:00 (UTC +7), August 6, 2026: Support period for resolving character data issues on the Tournament Server.
 
- 20:00 (UTC +7), August 10, 2026: Round of 32 - Match Day 1.
- 20:00 (UTC +7), August 11, 2026: Round of 32 - Match Day 2.
- 20:00 (UTC +7), August 15, 2026: Round of 16.
- 20:00 (UTC +7), August 22, 2026: Final Stage (Top 8) to determine the Desert King Tournament Season 1 Champion

3. Registration

- Eligibility
- The tournament is open to all Silkroad Origin Mobile players from the SEA and Vietnam regions, excluding the Legacy server.
- These tournament rules apply throughout the entire Desert King Tournament - Season 1.
 

Registration Requirements

- Characters must be Level 98 or above and rank within the Top 100 Character Rating on their respective server.
- Registration is team-based, with each team consisting of exactly 2 players.
- Each team must designate one Team Captain to complete the tournament registration form on behalf of the team: Registration Link
- The following information is required during registration:
   + Team Name
   + Character Name of both team members
   + Character ID
   + Server
   + Character Gender
   + Race
   + Contact Phone Number (optional) (Used to contact players in case of emergencies.)
   + Personal profile link (Facebook / Instagram / Discord / WhatsApp, etc.)
 
*Notes:
- Once the Team Captain has completed the registration, the other team member does not need to register separately.
- Registered character names must exactly match the in-game character names.
- Character IDs and Character Names must be accurate to ensure proper reward distribution.
- Team members are not required to be from the same server or the same region.
- Players from any SEA server may form a team with players from any Vietnam server.
- If one or more team members are unable to participate, the team must arrange a replacement before the tournament begins. Teams with fewer than two players will be disqualified from the tournament.
 

Team Selection Rules

- A total of 32 teams will qualify for the tournament.
- The first 32 teams to complete a valid registration will secure a tournament slot.
- All teams must comply with the tournament's registration and team formation requirements. Any team with an invalid registration will be disqualified, and the next eligible team will be selected.
- Once the registration period ends, the Organizing Committee will verify all submissions and officially confirm the first 32 eligible teams to advance to the tournament. 

4. Match Rules

Match Type Online Tournament
Characters - Players will compete using their own in-game characters.
- Characters must be Level 98 or above and rank within the Top 100 Character Rating on their respective server.
- At 10:00 (UTC +7) on August 3, 2026, the system will perform a one-time copy of each participant's character data to the Tournament Server.
- To ensure a successful data copy, players are strongly advised to log out for approximately 15-30 minutes during the data copy period. If players remain online, they should avoid making significant character progression during this time, as it may result in discrepancies between the original character and the copied tournament character.
- All character attributes, equipment, and statistics on the Tournament Server will match the player's original character at the time of the data copy.
- Starting August 4, 2026, the Organizing Committee will contact each Team Captain and provide the Tournament Server accounts. Players should log in to verify their tournament characters. If any discrepancies are found compared to the original server, please contact Customer Support for assistance.
- Each tournament character will receive 100,000,000 Gold, which can be used to purchase consumables throughout the tournament.

Match Duration 8 minutes
Match Format - Round of 32 through the Semi-finals will be played in a Single Elimination BO1 format.
- The Grand Final will be played in a BO3 format
Tournament Character Rules - Once character data has been copied to the Tournament Server, that data will be used throughout the entire tournament. Players are not permitted to modify any information related to their tournament character.
- Players are not allowed to change their character name after registering for the tournament.
- The registered character name must exactly match the character used during tournament matches.
Tournament Devices - All matches must be played on mobile devices.
- The use of emulators is strictly prohibited. The use of third-party software or any tool that interferes with gameplay is strictly forbidden. Any player found violating this rule will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
Victory Conditions - The team with the highest number of kills at the end of the match will be declared the winner.
- If both teams have the same number of kills, the team that deals the higher total damage will win.
- If both kills and total damage are equal, the match will be declared a draw, and a rematch will be held.
Disconnection Rules 1. If a player disconnects during the waiting or preparation phase before the match begins, they may reconnect and rejoin the match room before the battle starts.

2. During the match:
  + If the disconnection is caused by a game-related issue, the match will be replayed.
  + If the disconnection is caused by the player's device or network connection, the match will not be replayed. However, the Organizing Committee will handle the situation in the spirit of fair play. If both teams agree to replay the match, a rematch may be arranged.
Prohibited Actions - The following actions are strictly prohibited: Using Attack or Defense enhancement items.
- Using Nasrun or Berserker mode. Receiving buff effects (Attack, Defense, etc.) from any character outside the registered two-player team.
- Using Movement Speed enhancement items.
Additional Rules - Once instructed by the referee, both teams must immediately enter the match room. After entering, players are not allowed to leave the room.
- The break between matches will be approximately 1-5 minutes, depending on the tournament schedule.
- If a team fails to appear on time or does not have both players present, the referee will begin a 5-minute countdown. Teams that fail to enter the match room before the countdown expires will forfeit the match and be eliminated from the tournament

5. Race Selection Rules

Each team may include a maximum of one European Race character. Teams with two European Race characters will be automatically disqualified from the match..

II. Tournament Terms & Conditions

By participating in the tournament, all players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Tournament Rules & Regulations.
1. Match Winner Determination
- The winner of each match will be determined based on the following criteria, listed in order of priority:
  •  The team with the higher number of kills at the end of the match will be declared the winner.
  •  If both teams have the same number of kills, the team that deals the higher total damage will be declared the winner.
  • If both the number of kills and total damage dealt are identical, the match will be considered a draw, and the two teams must play a rematch to determine the winner.
 
2. Tournament Postponement & Cancellation
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to postpone or cancel the tournament and/or any match based on the actual circumstances of the tournament, the technical status of the game system, these Tournament Rules & Regulations, and/or any decisions or requirements issued by the relevant competent authorities.
- The Organizing Committee has the sole discretion to postpone or cancel the tournament and/or any match without any obligation to provide compensation, reimbursement, or any form of monetary or in-game reward to participating players.
- In the event that the tournament and/or any match is postponed or canceled, the Organizing Committee will publish an official announcement on the game's official website and/or official communication channels.
 
3. Complaint & Dispute Resolution
- Any complaints or disputes related to the tournament must comply with these Tournament Rules & Regulations and the Terms of Service of the game.
- During the tournament, the Organizing Committee will only process complaints that meet all of the following requirements:
   + The complaint must be directly related to a match in which the player participated.
   + The complaint must clearly describe the issue and include supporting evidence, such as screenshots or video recordings.
   + Complaints may be submitted through the game's Customer Support, the official Fanpage, or other official support channels.
   + The Organizing Committee will process eligible complaints within 16 working hours from the time they are received.
- Complaints that do not satisfy the requirements above will not be accepted or processed.
- Upon receiving a valid complaint, the Organizing Committee will review and investigate the case. For complex cases, the processing period may be extended at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee.
- All decisions will be made based on the official game server logs and will be publicly announced on the official website to ensure the fairness and transparency of the tournament.
- All decisions made by the Organizing Committee are final.
- The Organizing Committee will not intervene in or process complaints related to issues caused by factors outside the game system, including but not limited to power outages, internet connection failures, or player device issues during a match.
- Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 (UTC +7), Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and official public holidays.
- Regarding complaints about character data discrepancies after the Tournament Server data copy, the Organizing Committee will only review cases involving major discrepancies of 5% or more. Minor or insignificant discrepancies caused by the data copy process will not be considered for adjustment or compensation.
 
4. Violations, Penalties & Disciplinary Actions
- Violations of Tournament Rules: Any player or team found violating the Tournament Rules & Regulations will be immediately disqualified from the match and eliminated from the tournament.
- Exploiting Game Bugs: Any player or team found exploiting game bugs or unintended game mechanics for an unfair advantage will be immediately disqualified from the match and the tournament. Violations will be determined based on screenshots and system data verification.
- Hacking & Third-Party Software: The use of any third-party software, including Auto tools, Auto PK software, or any application that interferes with gameplay, is strictly prohibited. Any player or team found using such software will be immediately disqualified from the match and the tournament. Violations will be determined based on screenshots and server log analysis.
- Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
   + Offensive language or insulting other players: First offense: Written warning sent via the in-game mailbox. Repeated offense: Immediate disqualification from the tournament.
   + Insulting or harassing the Organizing Committee: Permanent tournament ban and account suspension.
   + TInciting conflicts, harassment, or posting violent or inflammatory content:First offense: Written warning or an in-game notification. Repeated offense: Disqualification from the tournament.
- Political, Religious, or Discriminatory Content: Any discussion or content involving political or religious insults, hate speech, or ethnic discrimination will result in: Immediate disqualification from the tournament. A one-week suspension of the player's account on the original server.
- Other Violations:
   + For any other misconduct that the Organizing Committee determines may negatively impact the tournament, appropriate disciplinary actions may be taken without prior notice.
   + If a major incident beyond the control of the Organizing Committee occurs during the tournament, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to suspend or terminate the tournament without liability. Any such decision will be made based on the actual circumstances and announced through the official website.
- Important Note
   + If any member of a team violates these Tournament Rules & Regulations, the entire team will be subject to the corresponding penalty.
 
5. Reward Distribution
All tournament rewards will be distributed directly in-game. Rewards will be delivered to each player's in-game mailbox within 1-7 working days after the tournament concludes. If you receive incorrect rewards or do not receive your rewards, please contact Customer Support for assistance.
 
6. Amendments to the Tournament Rules
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend or supplement these Tournament Rules & Regulations at any time during the tournament.
- Any revisions will be officially announced on the game's official website.
 
7. Final Provisions
- These Tournament Rules & Regulations shall take effect from the date they are officially published on the game's official website.
- By participating in the tournament, all players irrevocably acknowledge and agree to comply with all Tournament Rules & Regulations.
For any matters not specifically addressed in these Tournament Rules & Regulations and/or the game's Terms of Service, the Organizing Committee will make decisions based on the spirit of the game, the principles of fair play, and fairness to ensure the legitimate interests of all participants.
- In all circumstances, the decisions of the Organizing Committee shall be final. 
 

III. Rewards

- The Top 16 teams will receive tournament rewards.
- Each team member will receive an individual reward.
- All rewards are bound items and cannot be traded.
